Reflection:
Having provided SIM learning strategy professional development and coaching for
many years, I understand the importance for pre-development of responses to
questions such as those within this activity. Educators, including educational
leaders, involved in learning or promoting the CERs, as with the LSs, voice
these types of questions before, during and after training and coaching. By
pre-considering these questions and their responses, we as CER professional
developers will be prepared to respond and demonstrate the use of the
appropriate CER to match the data, or instructional situation.
