I feel more confident in leading a PD session after completing the FAQs. Completing the FAQs required me to read some resources that I may not have otherwise looked at to gain a deeper understanding of the CERs and their relationship to literacy, learning, teaching. It encouraged me to think more broadly about teaching the CERs past covering the content of how its done but to include the why. I also feel better prepared to answer harder questions more experienced teachers and administrators may ask about the routines and have references ready to offer if anyone should want more information. I am able to engage in deeper more meaningful discussions about CERs beyond the meachanics of how it's done.
