I will be using the framing routine to help our 1st grade students identify the coins used in counting money.
At the conference I created a frame with a topic of Coin Identification and the Frame had 3 main ideas - I used one for the penny, the nickel, and the dime and then wrote 4 essential details for each coin, noting color, president, value and how we count (one's, five's or tens). I have a picture of the frame, but cannot determine how to upload it!
