Framing is a wonderful resource that I look forward to implementing during this upcoming school year. It will not only help my special learning needs students to organize new or existing information, but it will also enable them to remember the information and apply it. They can also refer back to the information as needed which will further impress the information into their schemas. Because this visual device is co-constructed by both the teacher and the student, ownership of learning is shifted more towards the student. This further enhances their learning experience by producing greater student input hence greater student outcomes. The framing routine is a win win!

She has successfully used the FRAME 4 times since the beginning of the school year. She has collected student samples and has been saving her drafts in hopes of applying to be a SIM PDer someday. She is eager to continue to learn more Content Enhancement Routines.
