How might students share #BookSnaps with teachers via other platforms--Google Classroom, SeeSaw, Twitter classroom, etc.

All posted evidence

Google Classroom

I would keep it consistent and probably use it on google classroom- they would upload on google slides.

Teaching reading concepts inside the book.

There are about 3 reading concepts that come to mind.

1. One is to talk about Man vs. Wild. How is Brain going to survive the wilderness? What weapons does he use?

2. Prediction can also be talked about. How long will Brain stay in the wild? Who will save him? How long will he survive?

Sharing

The students could save their videos and upload the video directly into the Google Classroom. In my mind, I am thinking about Math. This is where posting a math story problem would be fun. You would post to Google Classroom and then they would have to respond with their own version of the snap? I would find something fun to do with that.

Students could share #booksnaps even without technology. With a template, they could create one that is hung on display in the hallway.

Plan for Students

The students could easily screenshot their snaps and post them to Google Classroom, especially the older students who are very familiar with SnapChat!  This is also a great way for students to share the books they are reading with others!

SCREENSHOT CITY!!!

Imagine the screenshots flowing in my students are unleashed to create their own #BookSnaps!! Of course, I would have to preview images before sharing with the class....because of that one students we all have!!

Offers Variety

I can see students being able to create book snaps using Google slides and then posting to google classroom. I can see students recording their book snaps through SeeSaw, and posting them through twitter classroom so other students can see and respond. Lots of different ways to embed into your classroom!

Google classroom is a great way to share Booksnaps.

I would ask the students to help me choose books that i can create a booksnap audio-visual for them.

SeeSaw

I would use Seesaw to share booksnaps because it is a safe way to share the booksnaps. It is a way for the teacher to have control over the platform and for all the students to be involved in a safe place to make and participate in booksnaps. Seesaw also has all the features to be able to make a booksnap. They are able to take pictures/videos, they can draw on the pictures, add text to the pictures, and add emoji's.

Google Classroom

I will be using google classroom for all my instruction and videos. I would love to share my booksnaps that I make there and leave it up to the parents if they want their child making their own but I won't require it.

Sharing #BookSnaps

There are many ways you and your learners could share #BookSnaps.  I would allow them to use Google Classroom, Flipgrid, and Seesaw as a way to share, make connections with learners, and allow learning to happen for my learners.  Depending on the age of your learners, you could create Tweets on Twitter as an avenue to connect with all of your learners in all of your classes.  The learners could learn from one another.
