Equations and Identities lesson provides students the concept of a statement being Always True, Sometimes True, or Never True.  Student rarely understand these types of questions.  This is a great first intro a set of problems that ask a student to answer Always, Sometimes, Never.  Students start with a worksheet to assess what they already know.  Teacher then looks over each student set of responses and provides a few targeted questions.  Then students get a set of cards to put in piles of Always, Sometimes, or Never.
