This is a great activity for assessing length, width, area and perimeter. The students will use their knowledge of area and perimeter to design their future college apartment. They will be using collaborative skills as they will be working with a partner or "roommate" to complete this activity with the use of a rubric that will be used to grade to assignment. In addition, they will be critiquing and reviewing another group's work and will provide feedback for that group to improve before submitting for a final grade.
