Item analysis reports are extremely useful in driving
teacher instruction. Teachers can use the reports in order to determine his/her
student’s weaknesses based on the results of the assessments given, looking at
specific standard strands and individual test questions. Teachers can then
tailor their instruction and create assignments that address whole class issues
as well as individualized needs of the students.
