I think this badge closely identifies with the designer standard. When using a smart board I can show videos, have them listen to sounds, draw and read. This allows teachers to have a variety of techniques for teaching one lesson that can help a number of different students at once. This also can help the students become more independent because I can have a lesson made and the students can work through the slides, activities and games to get a better understanding. The independent part of smart board is important because it is allowing the students to explore and predict and discover answers on their own.
