Flippity Review

I have already started using the name randomizer and group/partner randomizer and I love it. It makes my life so much easier! During review for our tests we will sometimes play jeopardy, I will be using the flippity quiz show in the future. I will also have students use flashcards for vocab and days we have time I think BINGO would be fun as well!

Task 2

There are a lot more tools on here than I previously thought. I could see myself using the following features on Flippity:

1. Random name picker - Not only will I use the random name picker for occasional cold calling/volunteer picking, but it is a convenient way to assign seats, groupwork, or teams at random. I am also looking forward to trying the jigsaw feature.

2. Flashcards - I am so happy to have found a compliant alternative to Quizlet, which was much loved by my former students and by me. I had no idea that the Flashcard feature on Flippity had so many options, just like Quizlet. There's also a tidy list, match game, practice mode, and test mode.

3. Match Game / Word Search / Scramble / Crossword / Bingo - These are all great tools for vocabulary practice and will make my life so much easier since I'll only have to type the vocabulary words into a spreadsheet one time and then can create so many fun practice resources for my students from that one sheet!

4. Quiz Show / Breakout - I am looking forward to trying one or both of these tools to review for our next test

5. Tournament Bracket - In the past I have participated in a "March Music Madness" competition for Latin songs. This might be a useful tool to track our class favorites.

Flipppity Task #2 (Jeremy Roberts)

The Items I see myself using with in Flippity are:

1. Flippity Flash Cards- I can see myself using these for my Life Guarding and CPR/ AED exam Review.

2. Flippity Quiz Show - This would be a great fun and interactive way to do Red Cross Test Review.

3. Name Picker - Will be excellent for PE, in picking teams or organizing small groups.

4. Flippity Tournament Bracket - this will be excellent for our Volley Ball and Badminton tournaments.

-Randomizer- a way to categorize info from a text, in a fun way for kids
-Board Game- fun assessment tool
-Manipulator- demo shows categorizing characters by traits by clicking & dragging- definitely useful!!
-Timeline- this would be great for 4th grade historical fiction unit- more colorful & fun than paper & pencil
