An FBA is used to figure out why a student acts a certain way. Figuring out the purpose of the students actions and ways to change those problem behaviors. FBAs are created by a team that includes, teachers, admins, professionals, the student and their family.
Students may get a FBA if its required by an special education eval or because a student was disciplined and removed from school. Family's can also ask for an FBA to be completed.
