Deck Gallery

I found some social studies vocabulary Decks that I think would be very useful. I also think that I would like to explore more of the math topics Decks. There are so many, and these are the decks I am most excited about using. I think students would find them engaging and interesting, and much different from what we have been typically doing in class!

Deck Gallery

There is a deck for Romeo and Juliet that looks interesting! It's a fun review that includes activities for drama vocab (soliloquy, monologue, etc.), Shakespeare background, and even a Shakespearean insult generator! Very funny. This would be a great independent activity for students to do while leaving me time for one-on-one conferencing. I'm always trying to find quiet, independent work for students to do to allow me some focused time for one-on-ones.

Most Excited for Reading Structures!

I found a Deck on Reading Structures which is what I am currently teaching in my 4th grade class and I think this would be such a fun thing to introduce to my class! They would be engaged and answering questions regarding material they have already learned.

*I also found many grammar ones that I am excited to use within the next few months!

The Fitness Deck will be great for my PE classes

The Fitness Deck will be great for my PE classes - I can also modify it for my at home virtual learners.

Olympic Games

I checked out a few decks and the one I found most useful for the Olympic Games one. As a health/PE teacher, it aligns with my teaching area and it was fun, also! I checked out the Wheel of Fortune and found it a little confusing to begin. If I assigned this, I think I would have to go step by step with my students. This could also be the case because I AM new to deck toys as well. There was a getting to know you deck that I was interested in as well. I would use that format and make it my own.
