What have we learned:
Teachers appreciated coaching, follow-up, in addition to ongoing professional development.
Enjoyed the professional development sessions with hands-on opportunities for teachers.
What worked:
Building relationships through coaching, meeting with administrators (principals and district leaders.)
Students made great progress by receiving daily lessons. We will build on that further by combining Fusion in double block English classes.
What can be improved:
Continue in-person coaching and observations - feedback has been so helpful.
Consider CoPs to merge Fusion instructors with other Region 8 school districts to share ideas.
