How are you using, or how do you plan to use Kahoot in your classroom?

All posted evidence

I plan to continue to use this as a fun way to assess where they are at in a subject or topic.

This is a great way to see what they need more help on after going over it as a whole class. By seeing the results afterwards I could pull for smaller groups to make sure each student is getting the assistance that they need. Once that is done this can also be used as a way to make sure they are reviewing before a test.

I also like the idea of using it as a way to pretest them, but then it doesn't actually feel like a pretest with how they are having to take it, which will make them more relaxed. I also know that they are very competitive and I hope that means that they will really try in order to make it look better for themselves.

We use it to review before an assessment, to do a quick pretest, and for vocab words.

I use Kahoot to help students review at the end of a unit.

I use it mostly for review.

I have used Kahoot many times to review before a test or a quiz, or to practice vocabulary as we move throughout a unit. It is a fun way to get kids involved and paying attention to the review guide.

I am looking forward to using Kahoot in my classroom!

My students have used it as a tool for showing evidence of their knowledge on topics, but I have not used it very much as a teacher tool. I am looking forward to using it more as a review for different topics we are covering!

I use Kahoot review the concepts that we have learned in our daily instruction and as a way to reinforce the learning that has occurred

How we use Kahoot in the classroom!

I use Kahoots in my room often! I use them to review topics we are working on, or to get students engaged in a new topic we will be starting.
I love that I can get feedback on how my students are doing. It is also so awesome to see how engaged my students become when we use this tool! They ask to play these often with just about every topic we talk about in class!

Kahoot engages students!!!

I like to use Kahoot to get students engaged in their learning - such as getting them excited about a new unit or checking for understanding on an ongoing topic. Students love to complete Kahoots and enjoy the competitiveness! I love the data it provides and that I can get all students engaged in the process.

Kahoot in class

Variety of ways I have used Kahoot: formative assessments, vocabulary reviews, brain breaks (Disney Quizzes, Middle school trivia on days before breaks, etc.). I have also used them for ELA vocabulary reviews.

I also used Team Kahoots/Blind Kahoots at the end of the year. Students would be given 5-7 minutes to read an informational article and then they would have to use the article and their partners to answer the questions. It added competition and students did not realize how much information they were absorbing.

How we use Kahoot in the classroom

I teach a resource classroom. Kahoot helps my students study for their upcoming tests and quizzes. Since we started using Kahoot and other educational technology websites in the resource classroom, the studentĀ“s test scores have gone up. Test anxiety is also down as students feel more prepared for their tests. My students can get bored easily when studying but Kahoot allows them to have fun and compete while studying and preparing for tests.

My students make Kahoots with me!

I have several Kahoots I have for reviews.  However, I enjoy letting the kids create kahoots as part of their evidence of knowledge over the topics we discuss.  For example, they can create a Kahoot over our standard about Food Safety to share their knowledge of what they learned with myself and the class.

I use Kahoot as a review for test. I also make it a challenge to see who can get the most questions right or medal in the top 3 positions

I mainly used this with my Nutrition and Wellness and Foods classes.  When we were learning about al the different types of nutrients, there was a lot of detailed information.  I thought it would be helpful for the students to see the information in a quiz type format before the test.  We did the Kahoot a couple of days before the test, which allowed me to see what the students had grasped and also to see what they needed to review a little more.
