I received a score of 41, which means I am, "definitely an empath." According to the website, this score means I, "sense things in a way that's different than an average person" and that I could benefit from turning off my "empathetic senses." While being empathetic is important, I do see the value in being able to manage my empathy better, as it can sometimes be taxing. In some situations at work, it is hard not to constantly perceive or wonder what one of my students is going through.
