After reading through the "Self-Care Ideas" the two practices I'd like to commit to doing each week are "doing things I enjoy" and "being in a quiet space."
First, I think it is important to do the things we enjoy because we are more than just our work. While it is important to be present and productive at work, it is also important to spend time doing the hobbies and activities that keep us motivated and excited about life. For me, this could be something as little as walking my dogs each night without my phone or music on. Since we spend so much time on computers at work, I think it is important to disconnect from time to time.
The second practice I'd like to commit to is "being in a quiet space." I find the quiet spaces to be productive spaces for me; spaces where I can enjoy reading or simply have time to reflect on things without literal and figurative noise.
