Collaboration Treasure Trove - Hatchling

Prospective badge earners will consider what it means for students and teachers to work together and analyze the contextual factors and possible barriers that are in play when deciding to use a new technology.

This corresponds to:

• ISTE Standard for Educators standard 4b
• Collaborate and co-learn with students to discover and use new digital resources and diagnose and troubleshoot technology issues

To earn this badge, earners will complete the following requirements:

• Resource Collaboration
1. Discover and explore a new digital resource (hardware or software) that you would like to use in your classroom to learn more about (3D printing, Scratch coding, Kahoot, Google Drive, etc.)
2. Diagnose what system requirements (operating system, amount of RAM it takes to run) and other contextual requirements are needed to be able to use this resource in a classroom (1:1, filters, class size, etc.) Submit this diagnosis.
