I attended OKC Ed Camp at Irving Middle School on Saturday March 3rd. The second sesssion I attended was about what future teachers want to know. I got a better idea of what to look for in a school when I am looking for work after graduation. I also go to hear about other future teachers’ concerns. It gave me some perspective on how I should approach my classes while I am still a student. I should soak up as much knowledge and as many experiences as I can in order to get a better idea of what and where I want to teach. I also learned that it is important to stick to the other teachers who love their job and who also want to do the best they can. Even if it means extending outside of your grade or school.
