Link 1: In the first project, there was a lot of information given as to why this would donation would be worth your money. I liked how he added a picture of his class using computers- this shows that they really use the computers in their class. He explains that the computers were not updated however, and it is causing a lack of resources for him in his teaching. He explains exactly what he would use the new updated computers to do such as things like virtual field trips, online readers, assessments and other activities. He also explained that most of his students learn best through visual, interactive activities. I think overall he did a great job with this project.
Link 2: I would be more likely to donate to this project because of the fact that this project reaches 166 students, whereas the first project only reaches 28 students. This teacher added photos which was nice to see, and explained that he thinks the technology that he wants will not only help his students improve in math, but foster an appreciation for it as well. I like that he mentioned he would also be teaching skills that students will be using for the rest of their lives. His explanation on why he needs this technology was a lot better than the first one, explaining exactly what he is going to use it for, and WHY it is needed.
Link 3: This project was poorly put together in my opinion. I appreciate the fact that this project will reach 125 students, however I did not find much of an explanation as to how this technology is going to benefit her classroom. She gives a very vague description as to what she is going to use it for, but she did do a good job at explaining how it will help the transition from elementary school to middle school.
Overall, if I were to donate I would donate to the second project that I chose. This project reaches the most students, has the best explanation as to how the technology will be used and how it will benefit the classrooms, and it mentioned that the skills used would be skills that students will use for the rest of their lives.
