In a special ed room specifically being an apple teacher can be extremely useful. We learn a lot about different apps in some of our SPED specific classes that cost a lot of money. I think with a true in depth knowledge of some of the apps that come for free on every iPad we could use that money elsewhere. Obviously my students don't learn like most students and so neither should they be asked to turn in essays and reports like other students. Passing on mastery of apple teacher apps can be extremely useful to my students especially because apple apps only update and most likely will never not disappear from the App Store.
