I think this could be very useful even in lower elementary to communicate to parents or other educators or responses or ideas! I could use this now as a student by educating myself on the world of education because it is a constantly changing world! I think Twitter could be a good way to keep up with current new ideas popping up and also continue this into my teaching years! I think as a teacher is could be helpful to connect with other educators in case we do need more opinions and find out new ways of teaching to be able to find new ways of teaching! The ISTE standard I brought in was, 3. Citizen Educators inspire students to positively contribute to and responsibly participate in the digital world. Educators: b. Establish a learning culture that promotes curiosity and critical examination of online resources and fosters digital literacy and media fluency. I think this is part of us using twitter to be a part of learning about new ways of teaching and about our ever-changing profession!
