This was actually so fun to be a part of. I've always had Twitter but never used it for this purpose. When I would respond to a question and someone replied back to me, I felt validated in my understanding of what was being discussed. Since I joined a chat with current Math educators, I was a bit nervous I wouldn't necessarily have anything to contribute since I am still a student. The questions directed towards teachers and classroom strategies, I applied what I have learned, but also what I notice from my current professors to answer the questions. I enjoyed being able to read what others are doing in their classroom, especially as the chat applied to virtual learning and strategies to enhance lessons for students through a computer screen. As a future teacher, this is a great way to hear from others what is working for their students, what isn't, and what I can do differently to ensure my classroom environment is as purposeful and encouraging as I hope it to be for my students.
