This was certainly interesting to participate in. Apparently I chose a chat that not many people were interested in, so there was not much to comment on, but the creator of the twitter chat was participating, so I was able to interact with her! This is probably not something I would use in my future classroom because I intend on teaching younger students and promoting social media from such a young age is not a good idea, but if I was planning on teaching middle or high school students, this would be a great way for students (especially in the era of COVID) to interact with one another while they are at home in online school. As a student now, I could use this in order to gain more knowledge about the classroom and teaching ideas that work or don't work. This ties into the ISTE standard I chose, which is the Learner standard for educators. We can always learn more from those around us, and I plan to do just that now and in the future!
