  • A visual representation with text that illustrates a physical or biological phenomenon.
    • Content of Visual
      • Information and data presented accurate, relevant and concise.
    • Visual Design
      • Visual is neatly organized and detailed with viewer in mind
      • Aesthetically Pleasing
    • Organization
      • The visual carefully leads the viewer from one idea to the next, and the information is easy to interpret.

Artifact 2: Science or other discipline

  • A visual representation with text that illustrates a phenomenon (not the one in Artifact 1). This artifact does not have to come from science.
    • Content of Visual
      • Information and data presented accurate, relevant and concise.
    • Visual Design
      • Visual is neatly organized and detailed with viewer in mind
      • Aesthetically Pleasing
    • Organization
      • The visual carefully leads the viewer from one idea to the next, and the information is easy to interpret.
