Artifact 2: Scatter

  • A scatter plot generated in excel with a linear regression based trendline that displays an equation and an r2 value.
    • Title of graph or table identifies independent and dependent variable. Axes are labeled.
    • Axes have correct units and are scaled properly.
    • Data fills most of the graph space.
    • Data is properly placed.
    • An appropriate line of best fit is drawn and an equation and r2 value for that line is determined and displayed.
    • Figure Caption for the graphed data describes the relationship between the independent and dependent variable and how the data was collected.
