I feel that I can use this but I will need to make sure I am better at it. I am a bit concerned about the email requirement.

I See the Light

I had a terrible experience from a presenter at a GAFE summit. It was hyper competitive, no support for new learners, and even a little sexism thrown in there. This presentation totally sold me on all the positive ways badges can be used to promote adult and student learning, teamwork, and self-motivation. THANK YOU!!

I loved this session! I can't wait to use this in my AVID class to pump up tutorials!

I enjoyed that this was a hands on session. I was able to build badges for my classroom to use which is exactly what I wanted.

Reflection

I'm so excited! I'm a total badge earner... I learned that you can allow experts to award badges, and that's a great way to involve kids in the process. They can become experts!

Badge Reflection

This has so many applications! Your only limitation is your imagination. I could use this tomorrow in my classes. My only concern is seventh grader buy in. They struggle to buy into almost anything.
