Create a large format poster
Project Creation: Create a large format poster (ex. 11x17, 12x18, 18x24, 24x36 etc.) 
Subject matter ideas: 
  1. A movie 
  2. Gig poster (ex. https://www.etsy.com/il-en/listing/822507258/kiss-bob-seger-gig-poster-st-petersburg You can look up gig posters on Google for more inpso)
  3. Something you’re passionate about (ex. Birds aren’t real) 

It needs to include these things:
  1. Background (can be color, or an image) 
  2. Character formatting (font, font size, font color, leading)
  3. Text on a path and/or text wrap
  4. Color swatches you created/added
  5. Imported graphics/images
  6. Shapes 

Features that are super helpful to use (hint hint you might be asked about a few of these… :)
  • Alignment tools 
  • Layers
  • Place command 
  • Guides 
  • Page setup features (ex. Margins, page size, facing pages, etc.) 
  • Links panel
