The kick-off book for Xtreme Reading, Coach Carter,
is out of print. When I ordered the corresponding texts for Xtreme Reading, I
could only locate one paperback at a reasonable rate. I’ve racked my brain for
ways I could carry out the instruction with one book. Discovering alternative
selections from other cadre members is a relief. Other books used by the group
are Running Dream and Fish in a Tree. I am looking forward to
reading the books and seeing how I can use them.
