I have been certified in SIM learning strategies and content enhancement for many years and have had the opportunity to work on national projects that focused on school-wide change using the SIM strategies and routines. I have worked with the Content Literacy Continuum framework in these projects, and I am also experienced with helping schools set up secondary reading programs for adolescent struggling readers. Through it all, I have had the opportunity to provide professional development to teachers across the country and work with many of them as they, in turn, became certified in SIM.
