There were many useful things I learned when reading and quizzing myself over all of the apple teacher required softwares. Using applications such as Keynote, Pages, or even Garageband or iMovie, will allow my students to have engaging tools in the classroom that are relevant to them and will benefit them more than a worksheet. My students will become effective "Creative Communicators" and "Empowered Learners" by using these resources to express their ideas and see their learning come to life through the use of the technology they use everyday and different platforms of media. I would love to use something like Keynote in an integrate arts book report of some sort where they can use the drawing tool while recording themselves while they talk about their book!
