I continue to administer PD for learning strategies annually.

Along with other members of the Prairie Lakes KU Team, I assist in training teachers in strategies, such as Sentence Writing, Paragraph Writing, and Word Identification yearly.  We make a point of following through with correspondence throughout the school year to encourage participants to follow through with their instruction and work through "trouble shooting".  We continue to add more strategies to our repertoire, such as Theme Writing.

 Content Enhancement Routine
Lesson Organizers, Unit Organizer,  Framing Routine, Concept Mastery, Survey Routine
The strategies 1,4,5 and 7 are very popular as the step by step instructions are easily followed by students with ESL background.

We have successfully implemented various strategies.

We have found the following strategies namely Fundamentals in Sentence Writing, Proficiency in Sentence Writing, Fundamentals in Paraphrasing and Summarizing, Paragraph Writing, Word Identification, and Test Taking and from Content Enhancement-  Lesson Organizer,  Concept Mastery, Unit Organizer,and Framing Routine to be effective in developing the  learning abilities  of students(India and Kuwait) whose second language is English.

We in India handle diverse learners where English is their second language , and some these strategies are very helpful in their learning process.
