We used the frame routine in the classroom at least once a unit. We would use it for math objectives that I could get into a frame layout.

Math objectives seem more difficult to construct as a frame. However I did find that they were very useful in vocabulary building and processes ordering. The students became familiar with the routine and could get started with think aloud before I ever began the routine.
