Write a paragraph reflection on giving a presentation. What did you do to prepare for the speech? What did you do well? Was there anything you could have improved on? Next time you give a presentation in front of a class, what will you do?

All posted evidence

This is a great city for farming.

To prepare for this speech I did not have time to practice my speech so when other people went before me I just used some of their ideas for the speech and used as one big speech. You told me that I did very on not putting my back at the classroom and I looked forward for most of the speech. I should have practiced my speech and made my presentation a little bit more detailed to improve on. Next time I give a presentation I will make my slides more detailed and practice my speech more.

I will be showing you how I earned This badge.

To prepare for this speech, I practice really hard and having people correct my mistakes. It took me a while but i got the hang of it. What I did well was that i did not stutter and I used a clear, loud voice. I think I could Have improved on how much body language I used Because yes, I did use some but I wish I can use more. Next time I present in front of the class, I will try to improve even better, kind of like Steve Jobs!

I Had a Blast!

I didn't actually prepare for the presentation, but I think that I did a good job! I was told that I did a good job in the convincing part. I was also told that I was a little funny. I believe that I could have done a better job if I had practiced and memorized the notes. Next time I have to present, I'll make sure that I practice and still convince people of my idea!

Giving a presentation requires lots of correct practice and entertainment to the audience.

I practiced once or twice a day to memorize what to say so I don't have to read from my notes. I had my little brother mark down each time I said, "um," "uh," or "like" so that I know how many times I said that and how much more I had to practice and memorize. I think there were some parts that I could improve but I don't really remember my presentation that well.

I did a lot of things that made my presentation good, but I also have things I need to work on.

I chose my pictures thoughtfully. They matched my presentation and they are high quality and are in the creative Commons. I also made excellent use of font, color , theme, graphics, effects, etc. to enhance the presentation. I didn't have any misspellings or grammatical errors. Although I did all those awesome things, I didn't include essential knowledge about the topic. I also didn't memorize my facts, and read some of my note cards.

For the presentation, I think I did pretty well but I think I could have done better.

I feel like I should be more prepared. For example, I probably should of rehearsed a little bit more so I didn't say um and like and I felt like I looked at my notes way too much. I think I did a pretty good job overall with my slide design but I could have added a little more variety in my pictures. Next time I present, I want to practice more and add a little more detail in my slides.

I had a blast!

I learned about a lot of cool cities around the world! I had a fun time listening to other presentations and giving my presentation! I really want to go to a few of those cities! :)

When I first chose NYC, I knew lots of things already about the city, as i've been there.

The time i got to present, I only got 3 minutes by my partner, Diego, since his presentation was so long. I didn't get to practice on Saturday, but on Sunday, I got on the computer and pretended that there was a invisible man watching me and i did my presentation... twice. On monday, i didn't really know if i was fully ready, and plus i got sick from eating too much junk. I raised my hand anyways. I actually did pretty good, i would increase next time I do a presentation in front of the class.
