Option 2: How privileged are you checklist?

I chose the "How  privileged are you checklist?". Everyone should do this. I scored a 63 out of 100 and this is the feedback I received: You're quite privileged. You've had a few struggles, but overall your life has been far easier than most. This is not a bad thing, nor is it something to be ashamed of. But you should be aware of your advantages and work to help others who don't have them. Thank you for checking your privilege.

I am not surprised by the results. Even though I didn't come from a wealthily family, I am very much aware of the privilege I have encountered. My children are biracial and some of the items that I didn't check, my kids would have based upon experiences they have shared with me. This is a great tool that everyone should take to be more self-aware.

How Privileged Are You?

I selected: Option 2: Explore and Identify your own privilege by taking any of these privilege checklists. HowPrivileged Are You? Check(list) Your Privilege, Able-bodied Privilege Checklist, HeterosexualPrivilege Checklist, Social Class Privilige Checklist.

My Analysis was:"
You're quite privileged. You've had a few struggles, but overall your life has been far easier than most. This is not a bad thing, nor is it something to be ashamed of. But you should be aware of your advantages and work to help others who don't have them. Thank you for checking your privilege." I checked 57 out of 100 boxesfor privilege.  In the end I am honestly surprised that I didn't check moreasa White, middle class, heterosexual, women.  I guessI wasable to realize that while I am very privileged in some areassuch as raceand sexuality, I still facediscrimination as a woman.
