Continuing the Learning and Taking Action

To continue my education and literacy in equity I will subscribe to Learning for Justice magazine and continue the conversations that we have in school.  There are several people within our district that have taken this Challenge so we are able to continue our conversations with ease.  I appreciate the exposure and the helpful hints for how to best go about starting and maintaining discussions.

I'm going to read The Learning  Professional, journal of Learning Forward that we received at the Spring Symposium and look at using it at an upcoming policy board meeting. Thank you!

I have used, and will continue to use this graphic when I meet with building level "Guardians of Equity" in my district.  We use this tool to rate we we are as a district, a building, and personally.  My goal is to do this at least twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.  In the fall we can use the graphic in creating goals in order to move ourselves along the continuum. In the spring we can use it to access our successes and areas in need of continued work.
