Create a Report

I pulled data from our Applicant Tracking System in order to analyze applicant biodata and provide LMPD with a report regarding applicant race and sex. I further broke down the data into where candidates stood in the selection process (ex. failed to meet minimum requirements, did not attend testing, failed oral exam, passed Civil Service testing, etc.). 

I ran regular reports on employee participation and total giving for the charitable campaign, across several years to record trends and solve the problem of a steep decline in giving. Using the data, we were able to formulate a solution that saw a dramatic increase in giving over the past two years.

The map created shows that properties inside of the Urban Services District are disproportionately charged more than the properties outside.  This brought into question the effectiveness of the Abandoned Urban Property tax, which is an additional 3% property tax on abandoned property.  The map added to the evidence that the program should be suspended until leadership can determine a more efficient and equitable way to assess vacant properties in the entire county. 

I did a retirement analysis to assist Metro leadership in understanding the potential for retirement in Metro.  This was to help understand the risk of a mass retirement due to the issues with the state retirement.  The draft analysis is helping leadership better plan for what could happen.
